16th-Century Book by Anti-Machiavellian Jesuit Gifted to University Fordham University Libraries has received a 1599 publication of Father Pedro de Ribadeneira’s response to “The Prince,” titled, “Tratto della Religione.” The rare book was given to Fordham’s Special Collections by Italian businessman Gianluigi Longhi and is one of only 35 copies in the world. http://bit.ly/2xBK63D

Congratulations to Dr. Sarah Grey who has recently been awarded a Language Learning Early Career Research Grant (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/10.1111/%28ISSN%291467-9922/homepage/grant_programs.htm).
