A representation of Fordham students and alumni, accompanied by Dr. Susanna Barsella and Dr. Alessia Valfredini, was invited by the Mayor’s Office to attend the Italian American Heritage celebration on Thursday October 5th, at Gracie Mansion.
16th-Century Book by Anti-Machiavellian Jesuit Gifted to University Fordham University Libraries has received a 1599 publication of Father Pedro de Ribadeneira’s response to “The Prince,” titled, “Tratto della Religione.” The rare book was given to Fordham’s Special Collections by Italian businessman Gianluigi Longhi and is one of only 35 copies in the world. http://bit.ly/2xBK63D
