On September 18 Prof. Parmeggiani and Valfredini were part of the delegation of academic and cultural institutions that met Italian Secretary of Education Ministro Patrizio Bianchi. We are grateful for the exchange, that has much generative potential, and thank the Director of the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in New York, Fabio Finotti, and Console Fabrizio Di Michele for the opportunity to engage in an important discussion on the teaching of Italian in the US.
